When the Titanic sank on its maiden voyage on April 15, 1912, humanity’s vulnerability to nature shocked the whole world.

Unlike the Titanic, at HSB, we can see the iceberg ahead and take action to avoid tragedy! Since our “maiden voyage” in 1999, HSB, Inc. has been sailing the seas and weathering many storms successfully!

However, we’ve experienced a 72.9% drop in necessary donations when comparing fiscal years 2024 and 2025. Less donations come at a time when the basic need of utilities are at the highest to date ($47,876.79 this fiscal year). Beyond general support to keep the heat and lights on, we also face the critical need to replace our 27-year-old roof.

HSB has a widely positive outreach, and the ongoing stewardship of our facility is of vital importance as we sail into 2026.

Your donation doesn’t just fund programs, it helps us respond to community needs, expands outreach, and ensures that families have a place to come for educational resources and enrichment activities.
